Already bought the parts for your Game Boy Advance (GBA and/or SP) mod but need help putting it all together? This send-in assembly service is for customers who already have a GBA and/or SP console and aftermarket parts, but want a professional builder to inspect, test, and assemble everything properly.
This service starts with a $50 intake and compatibility review. Once your console and parts arrive, I’ll inspect the motherboard, review the parts you included, check for compatibility issues, and confirm whether the build can be completed with what was sent. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label and packaging instructions for safe delivery.
If everything checks out, assembly labor starts at $50. If additional work, replacement parts, repairs, soldering, cleaning, or troubleshooting are needed, I’ll contact you before moving forward with any extra charges.
Please note that not all aftermarket parts are compatible with every motherboard, shell, screen kit, or battery setup. I cannot guarantee that customer-supplied parts will fit or function until I have everything physically in hand.
This service is best for:
- Customers who bought GBA or SP mod parts but no longer want to install them
- Customers who started a build and got stuck
- Customers who want their parts professionally assembled and tested
- Customers who are unsure whether their parts are compatible
The $50 intake fee is non-refundable once the console and parts have been inspected. Return shipping is included unless otherwise stated. If the build cannot be completed due to missing, damaged, or incompatible parts, I can provide options for replacement parts or return the items to you.

Important Service Terms
This service is for assembly and inspection of customer-supplied parts. Compatibility is not guaranteed until the console and parts are physically inspected.
The $50 intake fee covers review, testing, and compatibility assessment. It is non-refundable once inspection has started.
Assembly labor starts at $50 and may increase depending on complexity, missing parts, damaged parts, failed prior installation attempts, soldering needs, cleaning, troubleshooting, or replacement parts.
Customer-supplied parts are not covered under my parts warranty. I can warranty my labor, but I cannot warranty the quality, fitment, or lifespan of parts I did not supply.
If parts are missing, defective, damaged, or incompatible, I will contact you with options before moving forward.
Return shipping is included for standard completed services*.
*However, if there are major discrepancies between what was described before shipment and what is actually received, return shipping may become the customer’s responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, missing parts, damaged parts, incompatible parts, a non-working motherboard, prior failed installation damage, or a console/parts bundle that cannot reasonably be completed as originally presented.
