Repair Terms and Conditions - GamerGirlGameboyMods

Please read these Repair Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the http://gamergirlgameboymods.com website (the “Service”) operated by GamerGirlGameboyMods (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

These Repair Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Repair Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

REPAIRS

If you wish to start a repair, you can initiate that process here.

Cost for initial inspection and diagnosis is $50. This is non-refundable and is paid up front before any services are performed.

This also includes the pre-paid shipping label that will be sent to you to send your console in for repair.

Examples of repairable issues:

1. Screen problems

2. Sound cutting in/out or low volume/no volume

3. Buttons not responsive or hard to respond

4. Games not reading

5. Other issues that effect gameplay

How to get started:

1. Add this service to your cart and complete payment

2. Check your email post-purchase to get your repair authorization form.

3. Once your form is emailed back to me and completed I can send you the pre-paid shipping label.

4. Follow the included shipping and packaging information and send your console to me.

NOTE:
5. Consoles MUST be received within 12 business days of request for repair. If the console is received or shipped AFTER this timeframe, your console may be returned to you at your cost of shipping.

Once your console is received:

1. I’ll inspect the console and determine what needs to be fixed or what issues needs to be addressed

2. Once I determine that I can send you a cost estimate for repairs that includes a parts and labor itemized list.

*(The initial cost at checkout is the initial inspection and fault/function report and DOES NOT include any actual parts/repairs/labor)*

3. If you agree to that repair and costs, we’ll get that paid and then I can repair your console

4. Additional quality checks are completed to ensure the repair is effective

5. The specific repair(s) come with a 30-day warranty once you receive your console.

7. If you do not want to pay for the repair once you know the estimate, you can decline service and I can send your console back at your cost for shipping.

DAMAGE WAIVER:

By agreeing to the Repair Terms & Conditions you understand that I am not liable for any damage to your console once the repair process has been initiated.

There are times where consoles are not repairable due to unforeseen issues or lack of communication (water damage, voltage issues, corrosion, etc.)

If a console is received in condition that was not fully described, your repair may be refused and will be returned to you at your cost of shipping.

SHIPPING WAIVER:
You will receive a list of instructions to follow when shipping your repair to me; this includes the proper way to ship to avoid any damage(s).

I am NOT responsible for inadequate shipping nor damage incurred during shipping due to the shipping provider.

You are free to purchase shipping insurance at your discretion if you wish to protect your shipment. However, this is a very rare occurrence, but must be stated for clarity.

ABANDONMENT:

If shipping is due, and after 30 days of holding a repair, if shipping is due and not paid the console will be considered abandoned and no further attempt to deliver will be made.

Unable to Repair

If, for any reason, your repair is unable to be completed your console will be returned to you at your cost of shipping.

This can be arranged when applicable.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
